Riding Update – September 1 to 14, 2018
September 17, 2018
The end of the summer break has been very busy with meetings and events as I prepare to head back to Ottawa for the Fall Session.
I enjoyed the long weekend at home with my family before getting back to work. I spent a lot of time in the Edson office making phone calls and meeting with constituents. I also made a few home visits to meet with constituents.
On September 7, I attended the grand opening of the Ukrainian Consulate in Edmonton, and I was back in Edson the following day to participate in the rededication of the CT-133 jet in RCMP Centennial Park.
On September 11, I attended a lunch with the Edson Rotary Club to provide updates on current issues. On the following day, I participated in Impact Day with the Edson District Learning Center.
On September 13, I attended the 15th anniversary of the Good Sam and Evergreen Foundation in Evansburg and later met with constituents.
On September 14th I flew back to Ottawa as Parliament resumes on September 17.
The entire summer break was full of meetings with constituents and attending events across our beautiful riding of Yellowhead.
My updates will resume on a weekly basis and I look forward to bringing all of the concerns I have heard this summer to the House of Commons.
