Riding Update – Week of April 2, 2018
I enjoyed the Easter holiday with friends and family, including a road trip from Edson through Jasper National Park and back around through Nordegg. We truly live in one of the most beautiful ridings in Canada! After the weekend, I got back to work. I met with constituents and stakeholders, visited students, and participated in events around Yellowhead.
On Tuesday, I worked in the office for a few hours before heading out to Peers to attend a public BBQ in the afternoon.
I visited a grade nine class at Niton Central School on Wednesday morning. I then returned to Edson for meetings in my office with local stakeholders and educators.
On Thursday, I spent some time in my Edson office before driving to Rocky Mountain House where I met with Clearwater County residents to address some of their concerns. On my way back to Edson, I stopped in Gainford to visit constituents. I spent Friday in my Edson office.
On Saturday afternoon, I participated in the annual general meeting of the Yellowhead Electoral District Association (EDA). Afterwards, I drove to Warburg to visit with constituents before continuing on to Red Deer to attend their local Safari Club International annual banquet and auction.
I will remain in the riding next week, as Parliament will still be on recess. Look for my update next Friday on my travels throughout our beautiful riding of Yellowhead.
