Riding Update – Week of May 14, 2018

Parliament was down for the week and I was happy to spend some time in the riding. I spent most of the week in the Edson office, meeting with constituents, returning phone calls, and planning my summer travels throughout Yellowhead.

On Saturday, I will have the pleasure of attending the Big Horn Rodeo Parade, hosted by Caroline’s Chamber of Commerce. With the theme Wild, Wild West, I am sure there will be a lot of cowgirls and cowboys! With rodeo season entering full swing, I want to encourage everyone to come out this summer and support your community’s local stampede.

I also want to remind everyone that I am always an email or phone call away. Since my re-election to office in 2015, I have met many of you in my travels throughout the riding. Please never hesitate to get in touch with my Edson office should you require federal assistance, wish to meet with me, or are holding an event you would like me to attend. Also, if you find yourself in Ottawa, don’t forget to contact my Ottawa office and I would be more than happy to welcome you, arrange a tour of Parliament, and reserve tickets for you to attend Question Period.

I will return to Ottawa on Sunday, as the House of Commons is scheduled to sit for the next five weeks before the summer break.  Look for my update next Friday on the happenings of Parliament.
