MP Eglinski Elected as Secretary — Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group

OTTAWA: On April 12, 2016, during the Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group’s Annual General Meeting, Jim Eglinski, Member of Parliament for Yellowhead, was elected Secretary. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, H.E. Andriy Shevchenko was in attendance and brought greetings. The Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group promotes a deepening of bilateral relations at the two countries’ parliamentary level.
Ambassador Shevchenko voiced his enthusiasm about the Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group and underlined the strong and friendly relationship between Canada and Ukraine. He was pleased to see the great support for this initiative from all Parliamentarians across different parties.
